INVITATION TO PRE-QUALIFY FOR THE PROPOSED CONSTRUCTION OF FIRST YEAR SCIENCE STUDENTS’ LABORATORY (TETFUND YEAR 2018 ZONAL INTERVENTION PROJECT) AT FIRST TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY, IBADAN)
The First Technical University, Ibadan, hereby invites competent and reputable bidders with relevant experience and good track records to make submissions for pre-qualification for the construction of the First Year Science Students Laboratory Tetfund Year 2018 Zonal Intervention Project.
METHOD OF APPLICATION & ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Interested contractor should submit 3 copies of their detailed proposals which will be used for the pre-qualification. Comprehension and paged Table of Contents providing information on the company profile among other requirements should be strictly presented in the following order:
1. Evidence of Registration with the First Technical University.
2. Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission.
3. Evidence of Interim Registration Report (IRR) from the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) Federal Contractors, Consultants and Supplier Database.
4. Evidence of Compliance with the National Social Industrial Trust Fund (NSITF)
5. Evidence of Compliance with ITF contribution.
6. Evidence of Compliance with Pension Fund PENCON
7. Evidence of tax clearance certificate for the last three (3) years (2017, 2018 and 2019)
8. Court Sworn Affidavit that all information are true and correct and that none of the Company Directors has been convicted of any crime relating to fraud and also that none of the Directors is a member of staff of The First Technical University, Ibadan or the Bureau of Public Procurement.
9. Company profile and technical qualification of Key Personnel with evidence of registration with relevant professional bodies.
10. Verifiable evidence of financial capability bank Support from reputable Bank
11. Verifiable list of projects executed.
12. Verifiable evidence of construction equipment with proof of ownership or lease agreement.
13. Evidence of payment of VAT for the last three years (2017, 2018 and 2019).
14. Company’s audited financial reports for the last three years (2017, 2018 and 2019).
15. A letter authorising agents of the University to verify claims and submission with relevant agencies and bodies
METHOD OF PAYMENT
1. Interested contractors are expected to pay a nonrefundable prequalification and tender fee of N25, 000.00 into the Account below.

2. Photocopy of the receipt should be attached to the prequalification documents.s
SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS
• The title of the project should be written on the left-hand corner of the covering envelope and should not bear the name of the tendering contractor
• Prospective bidders shall enclose 3 copies of the pre-qualification documents which will include both technical and financial bids in a sealed envelope clean marked: INVITATION TO PREQUALIFY the Construction of First Year Science Students Laboratory (Tetfund year 21018 Zonal Intervention Project)

CLOSING DATE AND OPENING OF TECHNICAL BIDS
1. This pre-qualification de shall commence from the date of this advertisement,
2. Submission of prequalification documents closes on 13th April, 2020 at 12:00 noon. Any prequalification documents received after this date and time will not be considered.
3. Submitted documents will be opened at the Senate Hall, First Technical University, at 12:00 noon on 13th April, 2020. Bidders are required to be present at the opening
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Only pre-qualification documents of contractors that fulfill the above requirements and submitted within the stipulated dates shall be given consideration for the next stage of bidding processes. Notwithstanding, the First Technical University, Ibadan reserves the right to reject or accept any of all the submissions and her decision shall be final.
This advertisement for invitation shall neither be construed as a commitment on the part of the First Technical University, Ibadan, nor shall it entity only contractor to make any claim whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the First Technical University, Ibadan.
Bidders are required to show a table of content in order of the pre-qualification requirements well labeled and paged appropriately.
