How to Register As Work Contractor to Oyo State Government

Oyo State Government pursuit of its transformation agenda aimed at restoring the state to its pacesetter status has commenced and continues to execute various physical development projects in compliance with section 11(h) 11(e) and 12 (f) of the Oyo State Public procurement Law 2010. Interested and reputable Companies and organizations in the supply industry with suitable and relevant experience are hereby invited to submit applications for registration as contractors in the various sectors listed in paragraph 2 below.

It is important to note that the information and data supplied by successfully registered companies shall form their respective dossier, which shall be entered into a centralized database of Contractors maintained for Government by the Oyo states Bureau of Public Procurement.

CLASSIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS:
(i) Building construction.
(ii) General civil works including roads, highways, floor and erosion control. etc.
(iii) Water engineering works
(iv) Mechanical and Electrical Engineering services.
(v) Rural Electrification
(vi) Computer and information/Communication Technology Works.
(vii) Other ancillary specialist works as may be indicated in the data sheet accompanying the registration documents

DOCUMENTATION:
Prospective Contractors shall be required to submit the following document along with their applications:
(i) Evidence of registration of company or business name with the Corporate Affairs Commission (Certificate of incorporation for limited liability companies and Registration of Business Name of Enterprises).
(ii) Article and Memorandum of Association, From CAC07 i.e. Particular of Directors and Form CAC02 i.e. Particulars of shareholders
(iii) Copy of Companies income Tax Clearance Certificate.
(iv) Copy of Personal Income Tax Clearance Certificate (of two Directors in case of Limited Liability companies or the proprietor(s) partners in case of enterprises) covering the last three years.
(v) Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration Certificates and evidence of past remittances.
(vi) Company Profile Including list and Resume of Management and key Professional Staff and Photocopies of the academic qualifications, certificates and evidence of registration with relevant Professional Bodies
(vii) Verified documentary evidence of projects executed successfully in relevant sectors in the past five years. (Submission of the following documents would confer additional advantages i.e. copies of letters of contact award, certificates of completion: Partnership Agreement or Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Foreign Companies; Organizations; Suppliers; Manufacturers; etc.
(viii) Evidence of Financial Capability (Reference Letter Issues by Banker)
(ix) Name(s) and contact address(es) e-mail, telephone number(s) of designed company liaison with Oyo State Government.
(x) Company’s 3 years Finished Summary and 3yrs. Audited Accounts
(xi) Evidence of Registration of Businesses premises with Oyo State Ministry of Trade Investment and Co-operation and payment of Oyo state Development Levy
(xii) Evidence of Payment of registration fee depending on the Value of Project Contractors interested in bidding for.

(xiii) Banking details: Name and Address of Banker, Account Name, Account Name and Sort code

GENERAL INFORMATION
Application forms can be purchased from the branches of Wema Bank PLC at Mokala Roundabout and Secretariat, Ibadan upon payment of that of N10,000.00 only into OYSG Contractor vendor Registration Account No: 0121754507 with Revenue Code No: 4100005. Fully Completed applications for registration Must be Submitted to the Oyo State Bureau of Public Procurement, Room 33. Ground floor office of Executive Governor Secretariat, Ibadan, Oyo state.
Payment of the registration fees should also be made into the above mentioned Account.

Copies of receipt evidencing payment for application form and the registration fees must be included in the registration packaged.
Interest firms are to be submit their Application Forms enclosed in a sealed envelop clearly marked on the top right-hand Corner as follows;
”APPLICATION FOR REGISTRATION AS WORKS CONTRACTOR”

VERIFICATION OF INFORMATION DATA SUPPLIED:
Registration process may also involve verification of information supply by companies in their application and physical demonstration of special skill, trade tools or equipment machinery listed in their submission’s companies may also be requested to provide additional application or give further classification on submission to the Oyo State Bureau of procurement.
Misrepresentation of facts, gross misstatement or false declaration if discovered, shall form the basis for disqualifications or non-registrations

(iv) Oyo State Government is not equally bound to enter into any contractual agreement or negotiation with any party based on the advertisement.
(v) Any Contractor not registered with a Bureau of Public Procurement will no longer be allowed to participate in the procurement of Oyo state Government and all her Agencies (including educational institutions)
