The Federal government has divided the Survival Fund for Artisan and Transporter into three streams to ease the registration and implementation process. The first stream will cover 12 states.
While giving the breakdown on the Survival Fund for Artisan and Transporter registration scheme, Minister of State for Industry, Trade and Investment, Miriam Katagum, said the artisan and transport scheme would leverage on duly registered and recognized associations, so that members of these bodies would attest to the transparency of the exercise. She further stated that said 9,009 beneficiaries will be selected from each state of the federation, which will include bus drivers, taxi drivers, rideshare drivers, and artisans, including electricians and plumbers.

A total of 333,000 artisans and transporters across the country are expected to benefit from the N30,000 one-off grant. Stream one registration starts on October 1 and will end on October 15, states of the Federation to be covered includes;
- Abia
- Anambra
- Bauchi
- Borno
- Delta
- Kaduna
- Ogun
- Kano
- Lagos
- FCT
- Rivers
- Plateau
Stream two, which will include another 12 states, will start on 19 October and end on October 31. Stream 3, which is the last batch, will include the last 13 states, implementation will start November 9 till November 21.
