The Lagos State Government has announced the creation of an online form to receive applications from businesses in the hospitality, tourism, and other businesses in the creative sector for COVID-19 Palliative.
In a statement issued by the Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf, said that the eligibility form is available for all interested persons to fill and generate a code upon completion of the online form.
The commissioner recalled that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic that shut down all tourism and entertainment-related businesses, announced the approval of N1 Billion seed capital to help drive new growth in the tourism sector, being one of the sectors affected by the pandemic, the credit fund will be domiciled with the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSTETF) in support of the recovery and revitalization of the sector in Lagos State.
Requirements:
- Must be resident of Lagos State (LASSRA)
- Business must be within the creative Arts, Tourism and Hospitality sector
- Business must be registered with the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture
- Business must be operational for at least One (1) year
- For Term Loan and Hub Loans/Production Loans within the SME category; business must be registered with CAC
- Must provide Guarantors with a sizable income: Two (2) Guarantors for Term and Hub loans/Production loans within the SME category. One (1) of the Two (2) Guarantors must be an Association and One (1) Guarantor for Term Loans within the ME category.
- Applicant must be a member of an Association (Optional)
- Evidence of Tax Compliance
- For hub Loans/Production Loans; Business must operate a hub, incubator or similar facility that supports capacity development of emerging/existing talent with the Arts, Tourism and Hospitality sectors in Lagos State.
- For Production Loan; Business/Promoters must already have some experience producing work that has been in at least local cinemas.

- Business must be within the Arts, Tourism and Hospitality Sector
- Business must be registered with the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture
- Business must be registered with the CAC for voucher value above 500,000
