The President, Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote, has announced in Lagos on Saturday that the $2bn granulated urea fertiliser plant, located at Ibeju Lekki, Lagos, will begin operations next week.
He made this announcement when the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu embarked on a tour of facilities at the Lekki Free Trade Zone and Dangote petrochemicals and refinery complex.

It was also disclosed that Dangote Refinery would be completed later this year and production would commence in the first quarter of 2022.
The refinery has the capacity to refine 650,000 barrels of crude oil per day.
