Facebook has announced a training, mentorship, and support programme (Facebook 2021 Community Accelerator Program) for community leaders who are at least 18 years of age or older and are residents of communities that have a presence in Facebook groups.

The programme titled: “2021 Facebook Community Accelerator Programme” aims to assist community leaders from Facebook communities in harnessing and turning their ideas into action, granting them access to funds worth up to $50,000.

As one of the essential nuggets of this programme, community leaders are urged to identify important initiatives that will create a positive impact on the broader world and develop a plan to mobilize one’s community around these goals. In light of this, shortlisted leaders will have the opportunity to learn from experts, coaches and a customized curriculum, supporting their quest to further develop their community.
In addition, the community leaders will collaborate with top advocates and leaders in the community space and utilize all necessary tools aimed at helping actualize the goals.
