INDUSTRIAL TRAINING FUND (ITF)

IN COLLABORATION WITH ITF- INDUSTRIAL SKILLS TRAINING CENTRE, LOKOJA
CALL FOR APPLICATION FOR FOUR MONTHS TRAINING IN ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION AND WELDING AND FABRICATION
The Industrial Training Fund (ITF) and Nigeria Employers’ Consultative Association (NECA), in collaboration with ITF- Industrial Skills Training Centre, Lokoja invite applications from qualified young Nigerians of sound character and learning potential to undertake four months training in the following trade
areas:
- Electrical Installation
- Welding and Fabrication
OBJECTIVES
This programme aims at training and entrepreneurial skills in the above
equipping youths with trade areas and promoting public-private sector model in Vocational and Technical Skills Training.
PROGRAMME
Successful candidates will enjoy tuition fee FREE, lunch, stipend and they will be awarded a National Skills Qualification (NSQ) certificate upon successful completion of the programme.
The programme is non-residential. Candidates, will, therefore, be responsible for their accommodation throughout the duration of the programme.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should be between the ages of 18 and 35 years and must possess any of the following qualifications:
- Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE)
- B.SC, HND, OND and any of its equivalents.
In addition, good numerical ability and fluency in communication skills will be an added advantage.
METHOD OF APPLICATION
Interested and eligible candidates should submit a hand written application, two (2) recent passport photographs and photocopies of credentials not later than 29th March, 2023 on-line to: istc-lokoja@itf.gov.ng or drop a hard copy in a sealed envelope addressed to:

ENTRANCE EXAMINATION
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted to come for a test and should bring along the following:
- Original Birth Certificate
- Original Educational Qualification Certificate (s)
- Original and photocopy of National ID/Voter’s Card or International Passport.
