The Free 250,000 Business name Registration component of the MSME Survival Fund has begun. In a statement published by the PDO; The steering committee of the MSME Survival Fund and the guaranteed Off-take Scheme headed by the Hon Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment, FMITI, Ambassador Mariam Yalwaji Katagum wishes to inform the general public that the Formalization Support Scheme aimed at registering 250,000 new businesses at CAC nationwide is due to commence on the 26th of October 2020.

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION
• Suggested 3 names to be used as the name of the business
• Objects or type of business
• Full name and address of the owner of the business
• 2 Passport photographs
• Recognized means of Identification
