INVITATION FOR ONLINE CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION WITH CROSS
RIVER STATE DUE PROCESS AND PRICE INTELLIGENCE BUREAU, GOVERNOR’S OFFICE, CALABAR
PREAMBLE
In line with the avowed determination of Governor Ayade led administration to strengthen public procurement regime in Cross River State to meet global best practices, the Cross River State Due Process and Price Intelligence Bureau (DPPIB), Governor’s office, Calabar, recently embarked on a procurement automation exercise under the Cross River State Public Procurement Law No. 9 (2020).
To achieve this, the Bureau has set up an e-Procurement platform for all interested (existing. previously registered and intending). qualified companies/firms to register as Contractor, Consultant and Service Provider (CCSPs) in Cross River State.
1. BACKGROUND
The Cross River State (CRS) e-procurement platform is an online system that captures, maintains, and automates all procurement processes for the state government in accordance and compliance with Open Contracting Data Standards (OCDS). All existing and intending Contractors are hereby mandated to register on the CRS e-Procurement platform to enable adequate Recognizable Categorization and Classification of Contractors, Consultants and Service Providers (CCSPs) to enable them compete for projects/works in Cross River State.
